Food transport: ATP regulations
The ATP transport and distribution of perishable foods intended for human consumption occurs with temperature-controlled vehicles.
These transports must take place in compliance with the provisions of the ATP regulation, and not only that, even temperature-controlled vehicles must comply with construction requirements.
The ATP regulation provides for the types of perishable foods intended for human consumption and their transport temperature, regulates the technical construction requirements of isothermal vehicles according to thermal resistance parameters, and also establishes the methods of application of refrigeration units in accordance with the type of transport classification.
